Religion
Religion is a collection of world views, cultural views, beliefs systems, etc. Many religions are similar, but not exactly the same. There are also religions that are nothing alike.
Types of Religion
Some Types:
Polytheism- The worship of multiple deities.
Monotheism- The belief that only one God exists.
Henotheism- The worship of one god while accepting that other deities exist.

Symbols
Many religions have symbols in their religion. Their symbols represent something that has to do with their religion. Some religions that have symbols are Christianity, Judaism, and Buddhism. Christianity has the symbol of the cross. Judaism has the symbol of The Star of David. Buddhism has the symbol of The Dharma Wheel.
Holidays
Many religions celebrate holidays that have to do with their religion. The holiday only has to do with their religion and not other religions. The religion of Islam celebrates Ramadan. Christianity celebrates Easter. For the holidays, some religions have traditions they do on that certain holiday. Examples of traditions are food, praying, etc.
Branches
Each religion has their religion divided into branches. Branches are made because not all people have the same beliefs on certain things so they branch off into different groups and became their own group. In Christianity, some branches are Catholics and Protestants. In the religion of Islam, the branches are Sunnis and Shiites.
